I’ve been wanting a try some bling on my nails so I decided to add a layer of Nails Inc Shelton Street, a glitter polish containing tiny particles of gold, silver and brown glitter. Topped off with my favourite quick drying top coat, Seche Vite and tada, here’s the result:

I usually like to set all cream blushes to help them last longer, so I set this with a MAC Mineralize Skinfinish (Semi Precious – Rose Quartz)
Just a quick post to say that two of my local pharmacies (well local to work that is) have discounts on many Essence and Catrice items.
I went into the first pharmacy in search of the Essence Ballerina Backstage Collection which I was delighted to find fully stocked – I may have picked up one or two items which I will post about later. However, I also spotted many items with 50% off including kohl eyeliner pencils reduced to €0.98, many nail varnishes also €0.98 and lipsticks at €1.24.
I then trotted off to another pharmacy in the hope of finding the Catrice Papagena Collection and once again I struck gold and picked up a blush stick. Catrice also has quite a few items with 50% off including some nail varnishes for €1.40, lipglosses for the same, and a mascara for sensitive eyes at less than €3.00.
I’ll post some more details and images on my purchases soon.
Wet & Wild products are budget friendly anyway with most items under €5 but I nabbed 3 lipsticks and 2 glosses for just over €6.50 – amazing value! The Silk Finish lipstick was €1.13, the Mega Color lipsticks were €1.23 each while the Mega Plump glosses were €1.50 each.
The lipsticks are quite sheer but can be layered to build up more colour if desired. I’m not usually a fan of plumping lipglosses as I don’t like the tingling that’s associated with them, however, the Mega Plumps are ok – there is a slight hint of mint when first applied but thankfully no trout pout!
Have you come across any good bargains recently?
I know, I know – I start a new blog and then I just disappear completely, sorry about that but I was busy getting married!
Those of you that follow me on Twitter will already know this but on Saturday, 16th July I had the best day of my life – yes, it was my wedding day! This was followed by 3 weeks travelling around Thailand on honeymoon – the most amazing country, cannot wait to go back.
So I apologise for my absence and hope to be back in action very soon 🙂
